Hatha Yoga Exercises (Asana's)

The following are details of the exercises  that are performed in all of the classes. We do not only focus on exercise, we incorporate different breathing exercises, proper relaxation, meditation, positive thinking and increase awarness to healthier eating. You will find that 2 classes are never the same!
 
Open Class - Kilmarnock, Crosshill and Ailsa
For all levels, however each class may vary depending on the students in the class. Even if you are new to yoga you will still find a position that you can practice as there are variations for each of the poses, no matter what level your flexibility is. 
 
Covering the following;
Relaxation, breathing exercises, sun salutations, stretches, dolphin or headstand, shoulderstand, plough,fish & head to knee,inclined plane,cobra, half locust, full locust,  bow, half spinal twist, crow,hand to toes standing, traiangle, final relaxation. Also incorporated into the class is positive thinking and meditation. Relaxation periods throughout the practice.

Beginners Class
Poses are gradually introduced over several weeks, however,  some may vary  from time to time depending on the class,
 Week 1 - relaxation,eye & neck exercises, abdominal breathing, stretches, shoulderstand, final relaxation.
Week 2 -relaxation,eye & neck exercises,full breath, stretches, shoulderstand, plough,fish & head to knee pose, final relaxation.
Week 3 - relaxation,eye & neck exercises, full breath, sun salutations, stretches, shoulderstand, plough,fish & head to knee pose,inclined plane,cobra, half locust, full locust, hand to toes standing, triangle, final relaxation.
Week 4 - relaxation,eye & neck exercises, alternate nostril breathing, sun salutations, stretches, headstand, shoulderstand, plough,fish & head to knee,inclined plane,cobra, half locust, full locust,  bow, half spinal twist, crow,hand to toes standing, triangle, final relaxation.  Relaxation periods throughout the practice
 
 
1-1 Private Class
Is tailored to suit the needs and wants of the individual, will cover most of  the  poses in the open class.
 
Group Sessions
Willl be tailored to the size of class and the length of time allocated, it will cover most of the poses in the open class.
